initial point of this project was the interest in the shift of the silhouette— as a metaphor for human beings as sometimes intangible beings.

in relation to the topic „elementary particle“ a phenomenon in quantum theory is called the uncertainty principle. one aspect of it is that you can not determine the exact whereabout of an object and occasions can‘t be predicted. out of this concept stilts were built for a human being to change them into a unreachable figurine, which is never standing at one defined place. this means the silhouette is never defined, instead blurred.
